MISSING IN ACTION: The Dragons have lost centre Kyle Stanley to a leg injury, with older brother Chase coming into the side. Utility Matt Prior is back after five weeks out through suspension for his elbow on Johnathan Thurston in round nine. St George Illawarra slumped to their fifth loss in six games when they
went down to the Bulldogs 28-20 on Friday night. The match was
effectively over in the first 20 minutes as the visitors raced to an
18-0 lead. In a good sign for the Dragons it was the first time in six
games they managed to crack 20 points and their fightback in the second
half may just give them some confidence for the rest of the season.
While the Dragons are heading in the wrong direction, Gold Coast have
kept their finals hopes alive over the last month. They cantered to an
impressive 36-18 win over the Panthers last Sunday to make it four
victories from their last five matches. John Cartwright’s side won’t be
concerned about playing in Wollongong either with the Dragons having
