The bye seems to agree with Penrith. They have won five of their last
six matches the week after having a break. Overall, they boast a 12-5
record coming off a holiday. That bodes well coming into what shapes as a
difficult assignment. The hosts will need to contain the big boppers in
the Warriors pack and hope their attack continues to come up with the
points. Maligned for their inability to cross the stripe, Penrith have
scored nine tries in two games. Tough nut five-eighth Travis Burns has
been a big part of the Panthers’ revival and will annoy the hell out of
Shaun Johnson and James Maloney. Lachlan Coote’s kick returns have been a
real feature while we like the look of back-rower Ryan Simpkins.
