MISSING IN ACTION:No major changes for the Cowboys with Neil Henry naming the same 17 that went down to Canterbury last weekend. Half-back Ray Thompson has been out with a shoulder injury but has been included on a five-man bench and could come into the side at the expense of fill-in Michael Morgan.
A huge inclusion for Manly with full-back Brett Stewart set to return from a hamstring injury – providing he comes through a late fitness test. If he fails then young utility Dean Whare will again play at the back. The Sea Eagles were given a boost at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night with back-rower Anthony Watmough successful in having his dangerous contact charge downgraded, freeing him to play. Manly have struggled in recent weeks but should come into this match
with some confidence after their come-from-behind win over the Warriors
in Perth last weekend. It snapped a two-game losing streak and kept them
in sight of the leading sides. The Sea Eagles have won five of their
plast seven against the Cowboys including four from nine at Dairy
Farmers Stadium.
